I had the pleasure of teaming up with Capture Books on another series starting with the title Will You Hold My Story featuring a burdened little girl whose world changes for the better once she meets a joyful pup. I especially loved working on this project where I paired both a black and white cartoon lined style with my regular fully illustrated style.

The Last Gatekeeper
(2020)
In 2020, everyone had to get creative with how they translated their work into the virtual space, especially the theater world. Germono Toussaint took up this challenge and transformed his afro-futuristic musical, the Last Gatekeeper, into a virtual reading experience and I was so blessed he enlisted in me the task to transform his theater sets into narrative illustrations featured in his musical's virtual reading. This series of 30 illustrations was one of the most challenging and rewarding projects I've taken on to date and I'm so thankful for this experience. Check out the virtual reading here!

The Land of Twilight Trilogy
(2019-2020)
Starting October 2019, author Charmayne Hafen and her publishing representative, Laura Bartnick, took a chance on me - a new freelancer at the time - to illustrate Charmayne's Land of Twilight Trilogy. Working on this series allowed me to grow in my art exponentially and gain new experience in working with authors and publishers to bring their stories to life. This is the kind of work I want to do for the rest of my life and I'm so thankful to Laura and Charmayne for this opportunity. Look below for some of the internal illustrations!
